On the day I bought the single for "Silent all these years" I also picked up one for a song called "Hit" by Icelandic band The Sugarcubes. I was crazy about the song and played it over and over again. The b-side, called "Thief" not so much. What I didn't know at the time was that it was my first exposure to one of the few contemporary musicians I now consider to be a bona fide genius: Björk.
