liner note: put the needle on the record

The scoop on the machine:

"Harman Kardon Nocturne Cassette Music System - Model SC2520

I bought it in around 1966-68

It has the following components:

Garrard 3000 4 speed Record Changer and Player
Plays all 4 recon speeds and accepts stacked records
Cassette Player/recorder
This was very early in the cassette business. Everyone had reel to
reel or 8-track.
You could play tapes or record from records, the FM radio or through
the aux line
FM/FM Stereo Receiver
Note that there is no AM receiver
The unit has two speaker systems"

In other news, the new issue of Pictures and Frames is online and includes a piece I wrote about Anna Ternheim. Check it out!
